He had big dreams and plans but he joined his family business. Then, he had a job in Vardhan snacks.He also opened a chemical company and SAP institute.He did a lot of work and the fun fact he failed in each of them.And this failures lead to owing debts.And after all this failure and debts, Amit is the head of a company with 2700 crore market cap whose revenue is more than 1000 crore a lot of other companies wanted to invest in this high growth trajectory to earn profit.

In 2009,Sequoia Capital presented them with a proposal of investment but Amit Kumat and his team decided that they will take funds only when there is a need. Lesson 2- a unique habit of Amit Kumat he shared that in an interview when he wakes up every morning, he do a peaceful meditation and he daily list down the names of 30 distributors and later in the day, he and his team contact to those 30 distributors .  They do this same activity all through the year and this unique habit is a very big principle for all the business owners you can also do this making a new list of 5-10 new dealers,distributors, customers every morning you can contact them,and expand your business .


Lesson No. 3 : India As A Price Sensitive Company


3rd lesson- Amit Kumat was a true Indian for he was aware that India is a price sensitive country. He showed his brilliance by always putting less price on his product than the market.He never compromised on the taste he did aggressive advertisement and because 'pricing placement',he quickly became popular. He even gave more quantity in less price when Fritolay, in 5rs,used to give 22gm then Pratap snacks, inthe same price, gave 30gm.He understood the Indian mindset and earned great profits.


Lesson No. 4 : Recognise Their Target Group


Lesson-4 a product won't be popular until it is in great demand by its target group they recognized their target group as children. The children fight with their parents to buy them their favorite product. So the company started keeping toys in their packets and these toys turned out to be extraordinary. The children started buying packets more for the toys than chips because of their unique marketing tactic, they quickly became every child's favourite or we can say the thousands of children became their product's brand ambassador.
